CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) and ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence)
Tropical Sky is fully ATOL bonded with the CAA (ATOL Number 9759).
The CAA is the UK's aviation regulator responsible for that include air safety and consumer protection among other duties. It manages the Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (ATOL) scheme. All operators in the UK are required by law to hold an ATOL licence which demands the deposit of a substantial financial bond with the CAA. ATOL protects you from being stranded or losing money by arranging for people abroad to finish their holiday and fly home or fully refunding your payment in the event of any problem with the operator. It only applies to flight inclusive holiday packages.

Tropical Sky is also associated with IATA, the organisation that promotes international inter-airline cooperation. Today, IATA has 230 members from 126 countries throughout the world representing all the leading carriers and airline operators.

ABTOT (The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited)
ABTOT provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Tropical Sky 5504, and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight package holidays.
ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with Tropical Sky.
